Must be difficult being Brad Pitt - although the man should be prepared to take some punishment for the good looks, fame, fortune and tons of talent bestowed on him when he stood in the queue. Having swopped one Hollywood beauty for another he probably resigned himself to life in the public eye a long time ago. But not even he could have predicted the impact of the recent public spat between his ex and current partners.
As we all know by now Angelina Jolie started it all by revealing late last year she’d had the hots for her Mr & Mrs Smith co-star while they were filming - and he was married at the time. Jennifer Aniston hit back, calling Angie’s remarks uncool. And now, would you believe, Brad has added more fuel to the fire (see the abridged article on the Celeb menu). Riveting stuff, if you ask me!
*Just before going to print we received news of the hospitalisation of Patrick Swayze, star of Dirty Dancing and Ghost who - thanks to DVDs - still sets a new generation of women’s hearts aflutter. Days earlier in a heart-rending interview on the Barbara Walters talk show he’d spoken for the first time of his grim battle against cancer. Our article is truly moving (see an extract on the Celeb menu).
